Employee training and development can be regarded as the
incessant efforts being obtained by the organization in order to enhance the
performance of the employees in an effective manner. Therefore, organizations
tend to use several methods such as education, experience and hybrid models in
order to improve the overall performance level of the employees
It is considered employee training and development is a
critical element as far as human resource management is concerned where it has
got a major significance in the contemporary human resource strategy. Most of the organizations have realized that investing in employee training and
development is a key component to improve employee motivation as well as to
create a capable and skilled set of employees within the organization which would
be beneficial in improving the overall productivity of the business activities as
well.
There are several significances of undertaking employees
training and development within an organization which can be elaborated as
follows
Prevailing drawbacks of the employees can be identified
through the analysis of training requirements where the arrangement of
effective training would be helpful in improving the overall knowledge level of
the employees.

employees would be positively affect towards the enhancement of their
performance as their productivity levels would be increased accordingly.
Moreover, this process is beneficial in increasing the not only technical

employee brand of the company and it will create positive signs towards
enhancing corporate reputation.
Employees are privileged to improve on innovations within the
business as training fosters creativity allowing employees to think out of
the box.
Therefore, effective training process would positively
affect towards the enhancement of employee performance and as a result, overall
business effectiveness will also go up. Hence, there is a greater
responsibility for the company to identify existing weaknesses of the employees
to identify training requirements, designing of the training programme and
conducting the training programme and evaluating the performance of the
employees to evaluate the training effectiveness for continuous improvement
