Employee Appraisal System
Employee performance management is considered a vital
process in evaluating the actual performance of the employees vis-à-vis desired
performance expected by the organization. In other words, the core objective of the
performance management process is to enhance the overall effectiveness of the
employees while assuring the highest employee satisfaction regarding the
organization
Therefore, the employee appraisal system has consisted with a
systematic process which urges to identify the employee desired performance
targets, evaluation of actual performance against the desired performance,
monitoring and feedback providing, rewarding or training process and so on
Further, based on these actual performance, continuous
evaluations are carried out with appropriate changes in the targets with the
intention of optimizing organizational performance while ensuring their performance
is in line with the desired performance targets of the organization.

They provide a framework to direct future improvements and assist managers in identifying both performance successes and failures.
